There's the start I'm willing to build it up slowly, so lofty goals are welcome. I'd also like to be able to expand the sims out to the airplane world (Xplane) so considerations for joystic placements/any extra stuff. I hope to be doing CAD modelling and occasional simulations in my little Potter hole. This will also kinda sorta be my primary desktop, not just a sim room. Should I build one up myself (DIYSim) or are there good ready-made ones that you guys know of? Width smaller than 3' with all attachments? I've been looking into the Fanatek ecosystem and it's very appealing but I'm open to all suggestions.ģ. I'm currently using a Logitech Driving Force GT that I got on eBay for $40 lol. It should also be able to run VR with no issue (Occulus Rift, or maybe even HTC Vive)

The PC will need to be able to remain cool in the confined space, and also be able to be tucked away. So I'm opening up discussions for those interested/willing to help me on this long term project: I would like suggestions for the best direction to go with this, should I try to squeeze in a triple screen or keep it single? (the space is about 3 ft wide) I also want to run an Oculus Rift on this system, so triple screen is debatable.

It should definitely have a cockpit chassis that can hold a good wheel/pedal set, a seat comfortable enough to hold me for hours after a tiresome day at work, and be compact since I'll set it up in a closet sized space under the stairs, Potter style.
